What we collect
Nothing. Foldown does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Data on your device
Your timers, labels, settings and statistics stay on your iPhone only. They are never sent to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Motion and hinge sensors
Foldown reads your phone’s hinge angle and motion sensors to set the timer. This happens on your device in real time and is never recorded or transmitted.
Focus status
If you allow it, Foldown checks whether a Focus mode is on, only to show a Do Not Disturb indicator. This stays on your device.
Notifications and alarms
Alarms and notifications are scheduled on your device with your permission. Their content never leaves your device.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple, and we never see your payment details. Apple tells the app which purchases you own so it can unlock Foldown Pro.
When you email us
If you email support, we use your address only to reply, and delete it once your query is resolved.
Children
Foldown is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the update here and revise the date.
